FOOTERS & FOUNDATIONS

FOOTERS

Footers are a vital part of your foundation.  Typical footers consist of concrete, poured over rebar reinforcement in an excavated trench.  This provides support to the foundation & prevent settlement.

FOUNDATIONS

Foundations support the weight of the structure, provide a level construction surface and separate the other construction materials from direct contact with the ground.  Different types of foundations, are used in specific construction applications & environments.  The experts at M&J's Quality Construction know what type of foundation is right for your project based on ground conditions & structural requirements.

FLAT WORK

FLAT WORK

Concrete installations are sought after for strength and durability.  Flat work includes smoothed surfaces like parking lots & pads where we can do additions such as curbing & gutters.

Modern day flat work adds another element to concrete, making it not only structural, but also aesthetically appealing as well.  In addition to the smooth concrete finish, we now use a variety of methods to texture, stamp & stain concrete to  mimic the look of more expensive or less durable construction materials like brick, stone, wood, or marble.

CONCRETE WALLS

Concrete walls can be used in a variety of applications.  They are used on both interiors & exteriors, for structural and decorative purposes.  Whether it's a basement wall, retaining wall, they can include the same decorative finishes used in flat work, and be stained & stamped or textured to look like brick, stone, wood, or marble.
